Brackish reverse osmosis systems generally tend to work over 400 psi. It also requires more energy as it is necessary to have a higher pressure pump. Brackish water generally has higher total dissolved solids than the water they feed through a traditional reverse osmosis system. The levels of feed TDS are generally 1,000 ppm to 5,000 ppm.
